Migration guide

6 steps — ~30 min total

Follow in order. Each step builds on the previous one.

Step 01~5 min

Export your contacts from GoHighLevel

  1. 1Log into GoHighLevel → go to Contacts in the left sidebar.
  2. 2Click the "…" menu (top-right) → Export Contacts.
  3. 3Choose CSV format. Select all contacts or filter by tag if you only want specific segments.
  4. 4Download the CSV file to your computer.
Tip: You only need the columns: First Name, Last Name, Email, Phone, Company, Tags. GHL exports more columns than Bolsivo needs — that's fine, extra columns are ignored on import.
Step 02~3 min

Create your Bolsivo account

  1. 1Go to bolsivo.com → click "Start free" (no credit card required).
  2. 2Enter your business name, city, and the type of service you offer (cleaning, HVAC, landscaping, etc.).
  3. 3Add your sending email and business postal address — required for CAN-SPAM compliance.
Tip: Use your real business email as the sender (e.g., you@yourbusiness.com). Avoid Gmail or Outlook personal addresses for outreach — they hurt deliverability.
Step 03~5 min

Import your contacts as leads

  1. 1In Bolsivo → go to Leads → click "Import CSV" in the top toolbar.
  2. 2Upload the CSV file you exported from GHL.
  3. 3Map the GHL columns to Bolsivo fields: Company → Business Name, Email → Email, etc.
  4. 4Click Import. Bolsivo will deduplicate and validate emails automatically.
Tip: Bolsivo will flag leads with no email or invalid emails — you can skip or fix them. Imported leads skip the AI lead search step and go straight to scoring.
Step 04~10 min

Set up your sending domain

  1. 1Go to Settings → Company Profile → Email Setup.
  2. 2Add your domain (e.g., yourbusiness.com) and follow the SPF/DKIM/DMARC instructions.
  3. 3Your domain registrar (GoDaddy, Cloudflare, etc.) is where you'll add the DNS records.
  4. 4Once DNS propagates (usually under 5 minutes), the health check will show ✅.
Tip: If you already had a custom domain in GHL, you can reuse the same domain in Bolsivo. The DNS records are different per provider, but the process is the same.
Step 05~2 min

Run your first AI lead search (optional)

  1. 1Go to Campaigns → Create Campaign → select your service type and city.
  2. 2Click 'Search for leads' — Bolsivo will scan Google for offices, gyms, restaurants, or whichever vertical you chose.
  3. 3New leads appear scored 0–100 with an explanation of why each business is a good fit.
  4. 4Review the email drafts Bolsivo wrote for each qualified lead → approve → send.
Tip: This step is what most GHL users discover Bolsivo for — GHL cannot find new leads on its own. This is Bolsivo's core advantage.
Step 06~5 min

Cancel your GoHighLevel subscription

  1. 1In GoHighLevel → go to Settings → Billing.
  2. 2Click 'Cancel Subscription' and follow their cancellation flow.
  3. 3Take screenshots of your billing history before canceling (useful for your records).
  4. 4GHL accounts are typically deactivated at the end of your billing cycle, not immediately.
Tip: Run Bolsivo alongside GHL for your first 7–14 days if you want to compare results before fully switching. The free plan covers this overlap period.

Migration complete

Your GHL contacts are in Bolsivo, your domain is verified, and your first campaign is running. You now pay less, get leads you didn't have before, and have a bilingual AI receptionist answering inbound calls.

Know the scope

What you do NOT need to migrate

Bolsivo is focused on client acquisition, not all-in-one agency tools. Some GHL features have no Bolsivo equivalent — intentionally.

Landing pages and funnels

Bolsivo focuses on B2B outbound, not inbound funnels. Keep your landing pages where they are or use a dedicated tool like Webflow or Carrd.

SMS broadcast blasts

Bolsivo is email-first for outbound. Inbound SMS (when a prospect texts you back) is handled through Luna.

Paid ad integrations

Bolsivo doesn't run ads. Use Meta Ads Manager or Google Ads directly, or keep a separate ad management tool.

Agency sub-accounts

If you manage multiple client accounts, Bolsivo's agency mode is available on the Scale plan — contact us to set this up.

Your data stays yours

Bolsivo stores only B2B business contact data — no individual consumer PII. Your GHL contact list is imported as leads inside your private organization. No data is shared with third parties or used to train AI models. Export your Bolsivo data at any time from Settings → Data Export.
