Does Smart Estimates use AI to calculate the price?
Not for the numbers. The calculation is completely deterministic — it uses your real rates and predictable formulas. AI (Claude) is only used to write the introductory proposal text, which is optional and editable.
What service types does Smart Estimates support?
The module includes presets for 14 service types: residential and commercial cleaning, carpet, windows, pressure washing, HVAC, plumbing, landscaping, lawn care, pest control, pools, painting, detailing, and moving. For other services, you can use the generic preset.
Can I link an estimate to a lead in the pipeline?
Yes. Estimates can be associated with an existing lead in your pipeline to keep the full history — from the first email to the signed proposal.
Can the PDF be customized with my logo?
The PDF automatically includes your business name, contact details, and the proposal text. Custom logo support is on the roadmap.
Can I have multiple pricing profiles for different services?
In the current version, there is one pricing profile per organization. If you offer services with very different cost structures, you can manually adjust the intake for each estimate using available surcharges and extras.
